Drawing was the first thing I discovered and enjoyed doing at an early age. This ever growing passion and burning desire to draw has been applied to my everyday life ever since.
Establishing my first print studio in 1995 I created large scale printed textile artworks for clients such as British Telecom, Boots Plc and Serco. Alongside these large scale works I designed printed textile designs for fashion, selling designs to Ralph Lauren and DKNY.
I launched a new collection of prints for kids called Kuchi when I became a mum.
My work explores traditional drawing processes such as monoprint, cut paper stencils and collage. Ideas start life as a tiny seed and grow and develop on the print table. I am interested in the play of compositional elements through the quirky overlay of image, texture and pattern.
